Winx Club 2005 Shopping Day Stella by Mattel
Here is some better backstory to this doll, because she comes from an apparently very rare doll line. She was produced by Mattel in 2005, based on the popular tv show, Winx Club. Mattel made these dolls from 2004 to around 2009. After being discontinued, the Winx Club dolls by Mattel became increasingly rare, especially after Jakks Pacific took the license to make Winx Club dolls. Some dolls are actually pretty easy to find for, reasonable prices, depending on condition and all that. This particular doll I have only ever seen for sale twice on ebay, so im guessing she is among some of the more rare dolls in the line. I have much more of these dolls, so I will probably make a post going into more detail, but, lets get on with the post!
Here is a picture of her artwork on the bottom right corner of her box.
And a back view of her box:
Now for the doll herself!
A close-up look of her beautiful face.
She has hazel eyes, (which are showing up orange for some reason)
and orange eye shadow. Her lips are a pearly orange-red color that I adore.
Her hair is a two toned mix of bleach blonde and yellow blonde
She seems to have two long tendrils of hair that are supposed to frame her face,
but they are being held back my a plastic strip of some sort.
She also has a ponytail that starts at the top of her head and sort of blends with the
rest of her hair.
Her outfit consists of a two layered orange top with a blue star on her shoulder, some blue pants, with some orange at the top to simulate a waistband or maybe a belt? And some orange cuffs at the bottom of the pant legs. She also has this weird orange frilly arm band sort of thing, Im not sure what it is, but it seems cute.
Her shoes are bright neon orange wedges with little circles
near her toes, and another little circle just above her ankle.
unfortunately, one of her feet has slipped out of it's shoe, but it isn't too odd looking.
She comes with an extra pair of pink heels in a purple plastic shoe box.
And she comes with a cute card showing her holding her pixie friend. (the other side of the card has her in her fairy form, but it was too hard to photograph)
But if you want to see her fairy form, it's the same as her box art.
like this!
So, that's really it for this doll, I love her a lot, and since she is apparently very rare, it makes her all the more special to be in my doll collection! I hope you liked this review! Bye Bye!
Congrats on having a rare doll! I like her shoes!
